Welcome to the website of multidisciplinary musician, vocalist, producer, composer, poet, vocal therapist and radio host, ROUHANGEZE, who hails from the dreamy Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius, and who has now made London, in the UK,  her home for the last decade.

Rouhangeze's album “EVASIO” is set to be released in late 2025.

​

On this album, she invites, collaborates, and develops her compositions with some of the world’s finest musicians.

Among them are tabla player Aref Durvesh, multi-award-winning guitarist Antonio Forcione, bass virtuoso Linley Marthe, percussionist singer-songwriter and pioneer of Sega music Menwar, percussionist Kersley Sham, pianists-composers Tomasz Bura and Meddy Gerville, bass players Gino Chantoiseau, Vezio Bacci, multi-award-winning producer, instrumentalist, and songwriter Eric Appapoulay, and the visionary percussionist  Bernhard Schimpelsberger.

Exploring the traditional rhythms of the Sega, which she sings in her mother tongue, Mauritian Creole, her compositions bask in the colours of Africa and India and are influenced by her love of Jazz and the marriage between electronic and organic sounds.
